Entebbe International Airport (EBB) is Uganda’s main international gateway, located in Entebbe, about 40 kilometers southwest of Kampala, the capital city. The airport is situated near the northern shores of Lake Victoria, offering both domestic and international flights. It serves as a hub for Uganda Airlines and welcomes major international carriers.
Facilities at Entebbe International Airport include restaurants, duty-free shopping, lounges, banking services, and car rentals. The airport also offers transport services to Kampala and other regions, making it a key arrival point for tourists heading to popular destinations like gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Mgahinga.

The Airport was originally constructed in the 1920s, Entebbe International has undergone numerous upgrades and expansions to accommodate increasing passenger traffic. It consists of a single passenger terminal that handles both international and domestic flights, with major airlines such as Emirates, Qatar Airways, KLM, Turkish Airlines, and Ethiopian Airlines operating regular routes.
