In Uganda, a gorilla trekking permit costs $800 for international visitors, $700 for foreign residents living in East Africa, $500 for residents from other African countries, and UGX 300,000 for East African citizens. DAY 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi for the 3 Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour
Your 3 Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour begins with a morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala. You will meet your driver-guide, who will brief you about the trip. From there, you start the scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southwestern Uganda. Along the way, you will enjoy views of the rolling hills, green plantations, and small villages. You will also stop at the Equator for photos and a short break. Lunch will be taken in Mbarara before continuing the journey. By evening, you arrive at Bwindi, check in at your lodge, relax, and prepare for the exciting gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

DAY 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park & Batwa Experience
After an early breakfast, you head to the park offices for a briefing from the ranger guides. You will then join a group and begin your trek through the thick forest to search for the mountain gorillas. The hike may take a few hours depending on the gorillas’ movements, but the experience is rewarding. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one unforgettable hour watching them feed, play, and interact. After trekking, you return to the lodge for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa community, one of Uganda’s oldest cultural groups. You will learn about their traditions, music, dances, and way of life before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
