Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Your Hotel

After completing airport procedures, you will begin a short transfer to your hotel in Entebbe. Day 2: Transfer from Entebbe to Kibale National Park – 6 Days Uganda Safari Tour

After breakfast, you will start your journey to Kibale National Park, home to one of Africa’s largest populations of chimpanzees. The drive takes you through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, where you will enjoy views of rolling hills, green plantations, local villages, and scenic landscapes.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest and Bigodi Nature Walk

Today, you will enjoy one of Uganda’s most exciting wildlife experiences — chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park. After an early breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority guides. You will learn about chimpanzee behavior, trekking rules, and how to safely enjoy your encounter with these amazing primates.

The trek begins through the beautiful tropical rainforest as you search for chimpanzee communities. The walk may take between 2 to 5 hours depending on the location of the chimpanzees. Once you find them, you will spend time observing them as they feed, play, communicate, and move through the forest. This close encounter creates unforgettable memories.

After lunch, you will visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. The walk provides an opportunity to see different bird species, butterflies, monkeys, and experience local community life. You will enjoy scenic views of the countryside as you travel towards southwestern Uganda. Along the way, you may pass through tea plantations, banana farms, and small trading centers where you can see daily life in Uganda’s villages. Your guide will share information about the history, culture, and traditions of the communities you pass.

A lunch stop will be arranged en route before continuing to Bwindi. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is famous for its ancient rainforest, rich wildlife, and incredible gorilla experiences.

After an early breakfast, you will travel to the park headquarters for registration and a detailed briefing from park officials. You will be assigned a gorilla family group and begin your guided trek into the ancient rainforest.

The trek can take between 2 and 8 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Walking through the dense forest is an exciting adventure as you search for these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one magical hour observing their behaviors, taking photographs, and enjoying this rare wildlife encounter.

After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before continuing to Lake Bunyonyi. Known as one of Uganda’s most beautiful lakes, Lake Bunyonyi features 29 islands surrounded by green hills and terraced landscapes.
