Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

En route, you’ll also pass through the border between Rwanda and Uganda, where your guide will handle all the necessary paperwork. Upon arrival at your lodge, you’ll have time to relax and prepare for the upcoming gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the park headquarters for a comprehensive briefing by the park rangers. This session will cover important trekking information, such as how to behave around the gorillas, safety protocols, and the importance of maintaining a safe distance. The rangers will also assign you to a specific gorilla family group, based on your physical fitness and preferences.
