2-Day Lake Mburo Safari Adventure

During this short holiday, you’ll enjoy a rewarding game drive and a scenic boat cruise on Lake Mburo.
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo for your 2-day safaris Adventure & Afternoon Boat Cruise
Your 2-Day Lake Mburo Safari Adventure begins early in the morning after breakfast when your driver-guide meets you at your hotel or designated pickup point. After a briefing, you’ll embark on the four-hour journey from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park, with memorable stopovers along the way.
The highlight of the 2-Day Lake Mburo Safari Adventure is a visit to the Uganda Equator. Here, you’ll capture incredible photos and take part in the popular water experiment that demonstrates the Coriolis effect how water swirls differently in each hemisphere.
Upon reaching the park, lunch will be served before setting off for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This experience brings you close to pods of hippos, basking crocodiles, and an impressive variety of water birds. You may also see zebras, giraffes, and warthogs gathering along the lake’s shores. The day winds down with dinner and an overnight stay at a safari lodge inside or near the park.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Return Journey
After breakfast, you’ll set out for an exciting game drive across Lake Mburo’s rolling savanna. The 3–4-hour drive offers remarkable sightings of wildlife such as zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, warthogs, duikers, and many more that thrive in this small but vibrant ecosystem.
Following the game drive, you’ll enjoy lunch at the lodge before beginning your return trip. You can either head back to Kampala or continue straight to Entebbe International Airport for your flight. This marks the end of your 2-Day Lake Mburo Safari Adventure.
