Day 2: Bujumbura City Tour & Rusizi River Boat Cruise

You begin your 4 Days Burundi Safari Tour with a guided tour of Bujumbura, exploring key landmarks such as the Independence Monument, the Livingstone–Stanley Memorial, and the vibrant Central Market. In the afternoon, you’ll head to Rusizi National Park for a boat cruise along the Rusizi River. Keep an eye out for hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife as you drift through this serene wetland ecosystem.

Day 3: Cultural Immersion in Gitega & Return to Bujumbura : 4 Days Burundi Safari Tour

You will explore the National Museum, home to artifacts showcasing Burundi’s royal heritage and colonial history. You’ll continue to the Gishora Drum Sanctuary, where you’ll witness a captivating performance of traditional drumming by performers in ceremonial attire. If time permits, make a brief stop at the scenic Karera Falls before returning to Bujumbura.
